According to the preliminary data, the damage amount of the earthquake measuring 8 points in the epicenter happened on July 20 in Batken province in Kyrgyzstan is 45million 140 thousand soms. The Ministry of Emergencies press service reports.
According to it, the Ministry of Emergency Situations commission reviewed 2 293 accommodation units in Kadamjay district in Batken province of that 1 361 are of minor injuries, and 492 – the average. “Another 440 homes found in an emergency. Also out 120 social facilities were checked of that 57 are of minor damage, 54 – average, 9 found in an emergency. 6 are in poor condition of the 21 surveyed multi-storey buildings. 67 houses are of minor damage, 43 – average, 2 – heavy damage in Sulyukta. Here, the one is of average damage among 4 social objects; 3 buildings are of minor damage. According to preliminary calculations, the total damage amounted to 11 million 70 thousand soms,” the press-service noted.
“8 houses are medium damage in Batken, 127 – minor. One social object is recognized to be, 9 are of moderate damage. According to preliminary estimates, the amount of damage has reached 11.2 million soms. 3 dwelling houses are under the threat of collapse in Batken province, 212 have minor damage, 24 – average. 3 social objects are recognized to be under the threat of collapse and 3 have average damage.
178 houses are under the threat of collapse in Kyzyl-Kiya, 136 are of average damage. 6 are under the threat of collapse of 29 social objects; the rest houses are of average damage. According to preliminary estimates, the material damage is 22.870 million soms,” administration press service reported.
According to it 1 097 accommodation units were checked in Osh province of that 259 are under the threat of collapse, capital repairs are necessary for 559. 5 social objects are under the threat of collapse out of 8.
Monitoring Department and the Emergency Commission continue the evaluation work in both regions. The amount of damage will be specified.
