Сумерки / Twilight

Twilight is a vampire-romance novel which was written by Stephenie Meyer. This novel has become an instant bestseller and the biggest selling book of 2008.

Firstly, it is the first book of Twilight series. Twilight is a story about a seventeen year old girl, Isabella “Bella” Swan, who moves from Phoenix to Forks ( it is a small town which is located in Washington) to live with her father, Charlie, who is a policeman of rainy Forks, because Bella’s mother, Renee, travels with her new husband, Phil Dwyer, a minor league baseball player. But Bella does not want to live with her mum’s new husband (but Bella thinks if Renee loves him, she will be happy) even she loves her mum so much. Then Bella comes to a new school where she attracts a lot of attention by Students because in the small town she is new and comes from sunny Arizona. She is befriended by several students quickly and finds her true love, Edward Cullen, who is a vampire. And it starts adventures of saving Bella’s life from James, a tracker vampire who is intrigued by Cullens’ relationship with a human, wants to hunt Bella for sport but the Cullens attempt to distract the tracker by splitting up Bella and Edward; meeting the family of Edward and trying to save their forbidden love which is between a human-being and a vampire.

Secondly, I adore twilight because it is the best book I have ever read in my life. There are a lot of things that I like in this book, especially the cover because Stephenie Meyer has stated the apple which represents the forbidden fruit of The tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. This symbol shows Bella and Edward’s love. Stephenie Meyer has worked in details and each small thing gives us a key of understanding the novel deeply.

Thirdly, Twilight is for everyone who wants to read a good book because it captures you and you want to continue more and more reading.

Finally, Twilight was a dream of Stephenie Meyer about a human girl and a vampire who was in love with her but thirsted for her blood on June 2, 2003. And now it becomes real in publishing the Twilight series in 2005.
