Hello, Anastasiya! I am doing well, thanks!
Just a note to say a big thank to you for your letter. I was pleased to read it and it was unexpected to find out that “Tanya and Karina, you motivate me to do my best” (Anastasiya P.) – I am glad to learn that because you love English and this kind of motivation led you to improve your writing skills. It is really a great pleasure to know that and I do appreciate your words concerning our role in this competition: “…this International Essay Competition would not be so competitive and interesting without you…” (Anastasiya P.). I do agree with you on this subject because it would be not so interesting without you and Karina!
The essays you write are rather good and make us think about real life because you express your ideas in quite understandable way. It is good to meet other people and to learn something about their thought because we are all personalities and we have our own point of view and it is worth exchanging these ideas.
Frankly speaking I planned to write a separate essay “A note to say a big thank to City & Guilds” and I guess I will not postpone this idea and will do it right away, so you may read it in another letter. But still in this letter I would like to highlight that City & Guilds in this Competition has a great role for all of us. Here we have a nice opportunity to show our writing skills as well as creativity and our vision of modern world or life if you like. This competition held by City & Guilds is significant for learners of English indeed!!!
I am really grateful to City & Guilds for this essay competition!!!
Best wishes,
Tatyana
