Perfect PDF 6 Office is a helpful extension for Microsoft Office. It can be used only if at least one of the following Office products is installed on your PC: Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook. The key feature of Perfect PDF 6 Office is the conversion of Microsoft Office files and documents into the PDF format, including metadata, that is for example links, the table of contents, bookmarks, form fields and controls, comments or the index.
Of course, you can save PDF files directly from within your Office application (in Office 2010 or 2007 only), but in this case you will lose practically all metadata and your PDFs will contain only visible content and links.
Perfect PDF 6 Office includes a PDF program which allows viewing, printing and signing of PDF files. It also provides the possibility to rearrange the PDF document structure (insert, move, remove, resize, rotate pages), and to design PDF documents using galleries of watermarks, stamps, backgrounds…
Amongst others, the following innovations may be briefly mentioned (details follow below): creation of PDF files directly from within Microsoft Outlook, support of the XPS document format (Microsoft’s “opponent” of the PDF format), events and actions in PDF files, new annotation and editing tools for adding and removing comments just like written notes on a sheet of paper, and a powerful editor tool for backgrounds, watermarks, stamps and headers or footers. You can create PDF documents from text or image files and insert pages from image files or scanned images.
During installation, it is possible to select one of languages (English, Français, German).
The programme is available as “Full version” or “Upgrade Office to PDF Premium -> Perfect PDF 6 Office”.
